Generation G: Nice Is The New Black.
The newest trend is the Generation G for Generous. Apparently we all want to be and behave nicer! Since when was nice out? You think. Well think of Mean Girls, Monster In Law and Mommie Dearest. Or, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie In their Reality T.V. going around the USA clearly and bluntly being jerks and god did we laugh. Well Generation G want to play nice, it cried at The Blind Side and apparently still wants more.
Here is how it looks, we say hello to the counter lady when we order our Starbucks, she smiles, we thank her, buy a cookie for which profits go to some good cause and move agreeably aside to let other people place their order while we wait for our skimmed milk vanilla latte. So much politeness sounds like the world is turning Canadian Hein? ;-)
Hello Kitty gets a Starbucks, that's an exagerated view of the Generation G. I was sleepy doing this i know i could do wayyyy better but i dint!! :-)
Generations G, feels for the planet, feels for animals and feels for the young and helpless. Generation G sounds to me like a hippy minus the wide pants, hmm well looking at the collection for FW 2011 the pants did get wider! Well maybe will be slowly moving towards a 70s inspired style but with a sharper flare.
